Tipton Family
Tel, Teddie, and Annette

Hello! My name is Annette Tipton and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to represent Idaho families at the State of Idaho Legislature. Growing up in Rupert, ID, the lessons and memories of my small farming community are ones I have always valued and cherished. As the granddaughter of Mexican immigrants and the daughter of a migrant farmworker, my mother's entrepreneurial spirit, work ethic, and commitment to faith and family inspired me to excellence from an early age. From academics to music, sports competitions, and volunteer work, my upbringing prepared me to serve in ways I never expected.

After graduating from Nampa Senior High School, I went on to complete my undergraduate degree at Brigham Young University - Provo.  I was selected to work as an intern in the office of U.S. Senator Mike Crapo (R-ID) in Washington, D.C., which led me to a career in government relations and to complete my master's degree in international commerce and policy.  I represented financial institutions such as Merrill Lynch, Bank of America, and CIT Group before the U.S. Congress and White House Administrations.  My experience spans banking and healthcare policy, corporate finance, and data analytics.  Returning to Idaho, I redirected my talents to healthcare, supporting marginalized communities and leading the Outreach & Enrollment office at Terry Reilly Health Services. My journey came full circle when I met my husband at Boise State University, settling in West Boise, and welcoming our beautiful daughter Theodora “Teddie” in 2021. My role as a wife and toddler mom is my greatest joy and motivation. I am dedicated to preserving Idaho’s legacy and values for our children and future generations.  God bless you and your family!
